BEGINNERS’ PILATES WITH ROSHEAN – Essential
These twice weekly courses are designed for those who have not done Pilates before. This course will go over the five basic principles of Pilates: breathing and abdominal muscle involvement, pelvic position, rib cage placement, shoulder girdle stability and head & neck placement. Basic Pilates moves will be learned. At the end of this course, you will be able to make the decision to move onto an intermediate course.

BEGINNERS’ PILATES WITH MYRA – Essential
This once a week course is designed for those who have not done Pilates before. This course will go over the five basic principles of Pilates as above. Basic Pilates moves will be learned and at the end of this course, you and Myra will be able to make the decision as to whether to move onto an intermediate course.

Some of the following courses are intermediate to advanced level – if you are at an intermediate level, please don’t be discouraged by this, there are always ways to take an intermediate level exercise to an advanced level and vice versa.
UP A NOTCH WITH ROSHEAN – Intermediate
You have perfected the “Essentials” level and you are now ready to take your Pilates practise up a notch. This class will challenge your muscle strength and endurance. New exercises will be introduced and previous exercises will be made much more challenging. TAKING IT UP A NOTCH!

BEGINNER REFORMER WITH MYRA
Basic reformer concepts that will focus on core stability and use of breathe to facilitate power from the core. Learn to exercise with flow and rhythm. You will learn safety and set up of the Pilates Reformer, the basic exercises, and the principles of Pilates.

YOGALATES WITH MYRA – Intermediate to Advanced
No, this is not the latest Starbucks’ coffee! This course is a fusion of Pilates and Hatha Yoga, so effective because of its holistic approach, its emphasis on effortless movement and that most asanas work on more than one aspect of the body at the same time. Yoga creates strength, flexibility and balance, while Pilates creates core strength, alignment and postural correction.

CORE STRENGTH WITH MYRA – Intermediate to Advanced
This core challenge class is a series of exercises that focus on activating the deeper layer of the abdominals and then challenging them by adding resistance props such as therabands and toning balls.

CORE PILATES WITH PROPS WITH MYRA – Intermediate to Advanced
The “core” consists of many different muscles that stabilize the spine and pelvis and run the entire length of the torso. These muscles stabilize the spine, pelvis and shoulder and provide a solid foundation for movement in the extremities. Challenge these muscles with the use of various props such as fitness circles, flex bands, a maple pole, and springs to get strong and flexible. You will feel great and look great.

TONING BALLS WITH MYRA – Intermediate to Advanced
In this class you will enjoy selected exercises from STOTT PILATES Intermediate Matwork repertoire incorporating the stability ball and/or other ball props. Learn how these props may be used to support the spine in flexion, lateral flexion, and extension or to target core and peripheral muscle with challenge and variety.

FIT/ATHLETIC STRETCH WITH MYRA – Intermediate to Advanced
This course will help you discover how to add variety and challenge to existing matwork routines by incorporating stretch poses after each tone exercise. Isolate and tone peripheral muscle groups while assisting core stabilization. Increase flexibility to soften those tight muscles!

ABS, BUTTS & THIGHS – Intermediate to Advanced
A core conditioning program targeting those problem areas that we would all really like to re-shape. Get your abs and back strengthened, your posture improved, your butts tighter and well-rounded and your thighs toned.

20/20/20 WITH MYRA – Intermediate to Advanced
Enjoy a well balanced Pilates workout doing 20 minutes of cardio, 20 minutes of ?core strength and 20 minutes of stretching (or whatever else the instructor ?prefers!) to get it all in a hurry. (60 min.)

ATHLETIC CONDITIONING ON THE REFORMER WITH MYRA – Intermediate to Advanced
MAXIMUM 4 PARTICIPANTS
In this sports conditioning class you will improve strength, power and agility through new and exciting variations of familiar exercises that challenge unilateral movements, weight transference and core stability. This small class has a special focus on the core, arms, legs, shoulders and hips as well as rotation. Perfect for sports enthusiast clients and athletes of all levels.

ADVANCED MATWORK WITH MYRA – Advanced
This matwork class is an advanced level class where you will enjoy selected exercises for the STOTT PILATES Advanced matwork repertoire. Prerequisite – must be able to do intermediate matwork proficiently and without difficulty.

SPRINGS CLASS WITH LIZ – Intermediate to Advanced
BEGINNERS SPRINGS AND INTERMEDIATE SPRINGS
The springs class is unique, simulating the work of Joseph Pilates on the cadillac, the famous apparatus designed by Joe, at a more affordable price than a private class. No beginners will be allowed into the springs class – these classes are for intermediate level Pilates clients. The beginners’ springs class is for those who have not done springs work before but have taken an intermediate Pilates class before. The intermediate springs class is for those who have either done a springs class before or who are at an advanced level in their Pilates work.
